What should I pay attention to when customizing the electrical control cabinet?

The customization of electrical control cabinet needs to be paid attention to in many links to ensure that it meets the practical application requirements, is safe, reliable and easy to maintain. The following are specific precautions:

design phase

Clear functional requirements: fully communicate with customers or related technicians, and learn about the control object, control mode, process flow and required functions of the electrical control cabinet in detail, such as starting and stopping of the motor, speed control, monitoring and adjustment of parameters such as temperature and pressure, etc., to ensure that the design scheme can fully meet the requirements of actual production or use.

Reasonable layout planning: according to the number, size and function of electrical components, the layout in the control cabinet is reasonably planned. Generally, high-voltage components such as power switches and fuses are placed on one side, while weak-current components such as controllers and relays are placed on the other side to reduce electromagnetic interference. At the same time, the spacing between components should be considered to facilitate wiring and maintenance.

Electrical principle design: draw an accurate and clear electrical schematic diagram, and clearly mark the model, specification, parameters and connection relationship of each component. For complex control systems, circuit simulation and optimization are needed to ensure the reliability and stability of the circuit.

Component selection

Quality and brand: Give priority to brand electrical components with reliable quality and good reputation, such as Siemens, Schneider and Omron. Avoid using fake or inferior products to ensure the performance and service life of the control cabinet.

Parameter matching: according to the working voltage, current, power and other parameters of the electrical control cabinet, select the electrical components with appropriate specifications. For example, the rated current of the circuit breaker should be greater than the maximum working current of the circuit, and the rated voltage and current of the contactor should match the controlled motor or load.

Compatibility: ensure that the selected electrical components are compatible with each other and can work well together. Especially when it comes to intelligent components such as PLC, frequency converter and sensor, we should pay attention to whether their communication protocols and interface types match.

Cabinet selection

Material and protection grade: select the appropriate cabinet material and protection grade according to the use environment. In general industrial environment, the cabinet made of cold-rolled steel plate can be selected, and the protection level can reach IP54. In humid, dusty or corrosive gas environment, stainless steel cabinets should be selected, with higher protection level requirements, such as IP65.

Size and space: the size of the cabinet should be determined according to the number and layout of electrical components, so as to ensure that the components can be installed reasonably and leave enough space for wiring and maintenance. At the same time, the door opening mode and operation space of the cabinet should be considered to facilitate the operation and maintenance of the operators.

Wiring and installation

Wiring specifications: Follow the relevant electrical wiring specifications, such as the color, wire diameter and laying mode of the wires, and meet the standard requirements. Generally speaking, the power cord is red, yellow and green, the neutral cord is blue, and the grounding cord is yellow and green. The wire diameter of the conductor should be selected according to the current, so as to ensure that the conductor can carry the normal working current with a certain margin.

Installation technology: the installation of electrical components should be firm and flat to avoid looseness or inclination. The terminal should be tightened to ensure good contact and prevent problems such as fever and ignition caused by virtual connection. Wiring should be neat and beautiful, avoid crossing and winding, and be fixed with clamps or trunking.

Detection and debugging

Electrical performance test: After the control cabinet is assembled, a comprehensive electrical performance test should be conducted, including insulation resistance test, grounding resistance test, withstand voltage test, etc., to ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical system.

Functional debugging: according to the design requirements, the electrical control cabinet is debugged. By simulating the actual working conditions, check whether all control functions are realized normally, such as whether the starting and stopping of the motor and the speed regulation are accurate, whether the signal acquisition of the sensor is correct, and whether the logic control of the controller is correct. The problems found in the debugging process should be investigated and rectified in time to ensure the normal operation of the control cabinet.

after-sales service

Warranty period: confirm the warranty period with the supplier, usually one year or more. During the warranty period, if there are non-human quality problems, the supplier shall be responsible for free maintenance or replacement.

Maintenance response time: understand the supplier's maintenance response time and service mode, ensure that when the control cabinet fails, it can get technical support and maintenance service in time, reduce downtime and reduce losses.
