PLC integrated cabinet customization How do we do?
[2024-08-17]

The following are the steps to customize the PLC integrated cabinet:

1. Demand analysis

1. Fully communicate with customers to understand their application scenarios, control requirements, process and other details. For example, if it is used for industrial production lines, it is necessary to clarify the equipment type of the production line, the operation logic, and the required control precision.

2. According to the information provided by the customer, determine the required input and output points (I/O points), including sensor signal input, actuator control output, etc., and whether special communication interfaces or functional modules are required.

3. Consider the working environment factors, such as temperature, humidity, dust, etc., in order to choose the appropriate level of protection and heat dissipation design of the cabinet.

2. Design planning

1. Cabinet design:

- Design the appropriate cabinet structure according to the size and layout requirements of PLC equipment and other components. Ensure that the cabinet has enough space to accommodate the PLC host, expansion module, power supply equipment, terminal block, etc., while facilitating later maintenance and overhaul.

- Select the appropriate material, generally commonly used cold-rolled steel plate, stainless steel, etc., according to the actual environmental needs to determine the protection level of the cabinet, such as dust, waterproof, explosion-proof and so on.

2. Electrical design:

- Draw electrical schematics to clarify the connection relationship between PLC and various input and output devices, including sensors, actuators, human-machine interfaces, etc. Reasonable planning of wiring channels to ensure neat and clear lines and reduce signal interference.

- Select the right power system, including power capacity, voltage level, etc., to ensure a stable and reliable power supply for PLC and other equipment.

3. Control program design (if required by customers) :

- According to the customer's control requirements, use the appropriate PLC programming software to write the control program. The program logic design, algorithm optimization, etc., to ensure that the program can accurately achieve the required control functions.

- During the programming process, the security and stability of the system should be fully considered, and the necessary fault diagnosis and protection mechanisms should be set up.

3. Component selection and procurement

1. PLC selection:

- Select the appropriate PLC brand and model based on parameters such as I/O points, communication requirements and processing speed determined by demand analysis. Consider brand reliability, after-sales service, and compatibility with other equipment.

- At the same time, select the corresponding expansion module according to the need, such as analog input and output module, communication module, etc.

2. Other electrical components selection:

- Select appropriate sensors, actuators, relays, contactors and other electrical components to ensure that their performance and parameters meet system requirements.

- Select wiring materials such as terminal blocks, cables, and cable troughs with reliable quality.

3. Purchase:

- Communicate with suppliers to ensure the quality and delivery time of selected components. Carry out cost control, under the premise of ensuring quality, choose cost-effective products.

Fourth, assembly and debugging

1. Assembly:

- Assemble the cabinet according to the design plan in the required working environment. Install PLC, electrical components, etc. into the cabinet, and conduct reasonable wiring and fixing.

- Ensure that the connection between the components is firm and reliable, and the wiring is correct. Identify and number according to electrical schematics for later maintenance and overhaul.

2. Debugging:

- Conduct hardware debugging, check whether the power system works normally, and whether the input and output channels can accurately collect and control signals.

- Conduct software debugging, download the written control program to PLC, conduct simulation operation and actual test, and verify the function and stability of the program.

- Conduct comprehensive performance testing of the entire system, including response time, control accuracy and other indicators, to ensure that the system meets customer requirements.

5. Quality inspection and delivery

1. Quality inspection:

- Carry out strict quality inspection of customized PLC integrated cabinets according to relevant standards and specifications. Check whether the structural strength, protective performance, and electrical insulation of the cabinet meet the requirements.

- Perform functional tests and stability tests to ensure that the system will not fail during long periods of operation.

2. Delivery and Training:

- Deliver qualified PLC integrated cabinets to customers, and provide detailed operating instructions and technical documents.

- If required by customers, provide operational training and technical guidance to relevant personnel to ensure that customers can properly use and maintain the integrated cabinet.

3. After-sales service:

- Establish a sound after-sales service system, timely response to customer feedback and needs. Provide regular maintenance and maintenance services to ensure long-term stable operation of the system.
